How the level check works
Book a free trial lesson. Your teacher will assess your reading, listening and speaking and recommend where to begin.
The six CEFR levels
A1 and A2 are beginner levels, B1 and B2 intermediate, C1 and C2 advanced. Every level is taught privately at Lisanova Academy.
Complete beginner?
No test needed — choose "Complete beginner" and you will start from the alphabet and sounds.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the level assessment required?
- No, but it helps your teacher plan the right starting point.
- What if I know spoken Arabic but cannot read?
- That is common. Your teacher will assess each skill separately.
- Does my level change the price?
- No. Package prices are the same for every level.
