- What is Lisanova Academy?
- Lisanova Academy is an online Arabic language academy specialising in private 1-on-1 Arabic lessons for non-Arabic speakers.
- Are the lessons private or in groups?
- Our packages are private and one-to-one, so the full lesson time is spent on you. We also offer group Darija classes: three one-hour classes per week, four learners per group, $50 per month.
- Who are the teachers?
- All Lisanova Academy teachers are Moroccan, which makes the academy a natural place to learn Moroccan Arabic (Darija).
- Are lessons online?
- Yes. All lessons are taught online, so you can study from anywhere.
- Do you teach Modern Standard Arabic?
- Yes. Modern Standard Arabic is taught for learners who need formal Arabic for reading, writing, media, study or professional contexts.
- Do you teach Moroccan Darija?
- Yes. Moroccan Arabic (Darija) is taught for travellers, expats, professionals and anyone who wants to communicate naturally in Morocco.
- How much do the packages cost?
- 8 private hours cost $200, 12 private hours cost $300 and 20 private hours cost $400.
- Can complete beginners start with Lisanova Academy?
- Yes. Many learners start from zero, with no knowledge of the Arabic alphabet.
- How do I know my Arabic level?
- If you are unsure, we establish your level in conversation before your lessons begin, using the CEFR scale from A1 to C2 as a reference.
